What to know before you list
One rule: a real close-up of the tree
Every photo must be a close-up of the tree or plant showing the fruit growing on it — not a picture of loose fruit in a bowl or basket. It's how buyers trust that what they see is what they'll get.
Say how big an order you can honor
You set the largest order you can realistically fill from your tree, so nobody orders more than you can pick. Small and honest beats overpromising.
Free to list — you earn on what sells
Posting a tree costs nothing. You keep the earnings from each order, paid to your account after the handoff. Nothing is cut until it's bought, so nothing is wasted.
What you can sell
Fruit, nuts, vegetables and herbs — grown at home.
Backyard Growers is for homegrown, edible produce from a tree or plant on your property — from the pecan tree out back to the tomatoes on the deck. If it grows in your yard and you'd be glad to eat it, a neighbor probably would too.
